Stage	DESCRIPTION
1	Automatic PLC control system The AQUA 2000 is controlled and protected by an entirely automatic control system. For instance, should the inlet water flow decrease or stop, the AQUA 4000 system will stop automatically for protection and the alarm will ring.
2	System pre-filter Provides protection for Water Softener’s Ion-Exchange Resins. Uses 7 high efficiency cartridges, providing lower pressure drop, higher flow capability, increased contaminant removal, and longer filter runs.
3	Water softener/conditioning system with automatic backwash system Capable of continuous delivery of softened water by ion-exchange removal of hardness from the feed water. 10” Dia. x 54” High.
4	Granular activated carbon (GAC) pre-filter with automatic backwash system This pretreatment stage removes chlorine, chloramines, and other contaminants from the feed water. Stainless steel housing.
5	Coconut Shell (fine mesh) carbon pre-filter with automatic backwash system This pretreatment stage ensures the maximum water freshness, both in purity and taste. It removes odors and bad tastes, as well as contaminants from the feed water. Stainless steel housing.
6	Particle pre-filter For sediment removal. Heavy duty, lab grade, 20 micron rating.
7	Particle pre-filter For sediment removal. Heavy duty, lab grade, 5 micron rating.
8	RO Pump. Corrosion-resistant, high efficiency, high pressure, 316 Stainless steel
9	Reverse Osmosis Membranes High rejection (for greater water purity), thin film composite (TFC), FDA approved, high flow membranes.
10	Product water storage tanks FDA approved polyethylene. Complete with unique sub-micron (0.1) replaceable air filter and bulkhead connections.
11	Re-pressurization and distribution system Delivers constant- pressure product water to the point of use. Includes corrosion- free, high impact fiberglass pressurized tank and Stainless Steel heavy-duty, continuous use RP booster pump.
12	Carbon block and sub-micron post-filtration Improves product water taste and removes microscopic particles. High flow, durable filters.
13	Ultraviolet light sterilization post-treatment system. Eliminates up to 99.9% of bacteria before the point of use. Stainless Steel, with pilot indicator light.
